Creating Seasonal Calendars

Creating Seasonal Calendars

Documenting and gathering information on the spawning of reef fish and invertebrates will help to build the foundation of a seasonal calendar.  Please refer to the tutorial videos and guides on how to conduct gonad analysis for ʻopihi and reef fish.  All of the information gathered through the Huli ʻIa observations and spawning can be used to track the seasonal changes in behavior and spawning to be used in creating a calendar.
